Small and established software company that specializes in solutions to the Restaurant & Hospitality, Beverage Alcohol, Brand Management and National Accounts industries is seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Professional to join our team. Our entrepreneurial environment will allow the right candidate to thrive and grow within our organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the sales of software to the Food & Beverage industry.

The primary responsibility of the candidate is to qualify, pursue and close new opportunities within our target market(s). The successful candidate will cultivate, deepen and maintain existing client relationships and proactively identify opportunities that benefit the customer and the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clientele base

• Consult with existing and new customers to sell appropriate products

• Generate revenue and meet sales goals

• Deliver sales consultations and presentations to all levels of end-user, from C-level to front line managers

• Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows and other external events

• Work with company executives to help set and meet business objectives

• Work closely with technology resources to determine specs and establish timetables

Minimum Qualifications

• Sales Experience

• Results driven with demonstrated track record of personally closing sales opportunities

• Ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with executives and decision makers

• Maintain honesty and integrity in everything you do

• College Degree

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience in selling to the Restaurant & Hospitality and/or Beverage Alcohol industries

• Experience in selling technology, in particular web-based/software-as-a-service solutions

• Connections to marketing & brand managers and decision makers in the Restaurant & Hospitality industry

• M.B.A. or equivalent

• Entrepreneurial spirit

Location: Telecommuting/home-based in western USA near major airport (some travel required)

Junior Software Engineer - Part-time (1099 Contract Position)

Small, established software company that specializes in solutions to the Restaurant & Hospitality, Beverage Alcohol, Brand Management and National Accounts industries is seeking an part time Software Engineer. Our entrepreneurial environment will allow the right candidate to thrive and grow with our organization.

The primary responsibility of the candidate is to design, program and support our growing catalog of web-based software applications. This position will require a strong technical background and the demonstrated ability to work with customers in acquiring requirements, installing and customizing software and supporting the applications.

This position has the potential to grow into a full-time salaried (W2) classification.

Required Technical Skills:
Previous knowledge and experience with web-based applications that are written using open source technologies.
